Stress is often seen as something that happens to us. Work, relationships, finances, responsibilities, and everyday challenges are commonly blamed as the source of stress. But is stress always created by external circumstances?
Or can our thoughts, fears, worries, expectations, and emotional reactions play a much greater role than we realise?
Many people spend a significant amount of their energy worrying about situations that have not happened, replaying past events, imagining worst-case scenarios, or reacting emotionally to circumstances beyond their control. These patterns can create more emotional tension, keep the mind constantly active, and make it difficult to switch off.
Over time, this can become a chronic state of stress, affecting our energy, emotional balance, wellbeing, and the way we experience life.
In this introductory talk, we will explore the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and stress. We will look at how the mind shapes our experience of life, how stress can be created and maintained, and how greater awareness can help us respond differently to both ourselves and the world around us.
This talk is based on the Human System understanding — the core method and philosophy behind Grounded Energies.
No experience needed.
