Dodgeball Toronto is thrilled to host our THIRD annual women's, men's and mixed CASH & PRIZES Mid-Season Clash dodgeball tournament.
We put a heavy emphasis on player experience and take great pride in hosting some of the best tournaments our country has to offer. With every event we host, we commit to making improvements driven by your feedback. We have several improvements coming this summer that we will publish shortly after registration opens!
Our regular tournament attractions and features include:
-Player-centric tournament, run by and for dodgeball players in touch with community members and leaders to offer you the best possible dodgeball experience β€οΈ
- ALL matches filmed π₯ in ALL divisions in high-def (4k 60fps) uploaded to our YouTube channel (now uploading immediately post event π - super shoutout to Doki Doki Dodgeball!)
-Several dedicated professional athletic photographers πΈπΈπΈ for players to create & share meaningful memories (thousands of high quality, professional athletic grade event photographs delivered - check out our Facebook for previous albums)
-Portrait Studio ππ½ββοΈππΌππΏββοΈ for teams and players to take professional studio grade team and/or individual mementos
-Tournament wide professional videography π₯ producing highlights, promotion, and general dodgeball content
-2 Courts with high quality live streaming and scattered commentary coverage streamed to our YouTube channel
-First aid coverage event wide, with the option for athletic treatment and therapy at nominal cost, courtesy of our dear friends at @thespotrpr ππΌββοΈππ»ββοΈ
-ALL matches officiated by 2 referees and 2 lines-people π¨πΌββοΈπ©π»ββοΈ with a dedicated head / 'main' referee for every court π¨πΎββοΈπ©πΌββοΈ

General Tournament Info
Location: Markham Pan Am Community Centre
Address: 16 Main Street, Unionville, ON L3R 2E4
Divisions: Women's Open, Men's Open, Mixed Open (3 male-identifying and 3 female-identifying players on court at once), Mixed Recreational (2 minimum of each female and male identifying players, to a maximum of 4). All full team submissions - we will be taking individual registrations for individuals looking to be placed on a team or on an individual/free-agent team*.
We will be accepting a maximum of 30 men's teams, 24 women's teams, 24 mixed open teams, and 20 mixed rec teams. All teams across divisions will get 5x RR and 1x Playoffs minimum. Men's division will play 15 team playoffs / 15 team consolation playoffs, women's 12 / 12, mixed Open 12 / 12 and Mixed Rec. will be all 20 teams make playoffs in one bracket.
Players will only be eligible to play in mixed recreational OR mixed open (exceptions made for recreational teams/players looking to play in the mixed open - no highly competitive players will be permitted in our recreational division). The general rule of thumb is: If you have to ask "Can I play rec?" then you probably can't. No national team members, no high performing @ Nationals players (Dodgeball Toronto discretion will apply here).
Tournament Run Time: Friday July 18th through Sunday July 20th
Friday: Noon to 9:30pm (men's RR + R16 playoffs & R16 consolation playoffs)
Saturday: 8am to 7:30pm (women's RR + playoffs & consolation playoffs)
Saturday: 3pm to 7pm (men's consolation playoffs quarter-finals onwards)
Saturday: 4:30pm to 8:30pm (men's quarter finals onwards)
Sunday: 7:00am to 3:30pm (mixed recreational RR + playoffs)
Sunday: 11:40am to 9:30pm (mixed open RR + playoffs)
*Individual registrants: we will put you on a list and attempt to place you - this does not guarantee your participation, but you'll be in a pool available for captains to pick you up! We will also be assembling teams of our individuals who sign up, with the caveat that we need a min-max threshold to accommodate. We won't place more than 8-9 on a team and need a minimum of 6-7 to put one together. We will facilitate as best as possible.

Rooms are $199 per night for quad occupancy, available for check in as early as the evening of Wednesday, July 16th, and check out as late as Wednesday, July 23rd. Hotel is a 4 star 10-15 minute drive away from our venue!

Waivers
Players looking to fill the waiver out in advance can do so at www.dodgeballtoronto.net/waiver. This only needs to be done once per person per calendar year (2025) and you're covered for all of our leagues, tournaments, and events for the whole year!
