Join us for a film screening of the documentary, Exposing the Unspoken: 4 Southern People NOT Southern Company, which explores the larger themes of the intersection between the environment, the economy, and the use of energy. Following the documentary, we will have a discussion with Lindsay Harper, the National Coordinator for Arm in Arm, a grassroots movement looking to usher in environmental and societal changes. Activities statement: The purpose of all UAB Institute for Human Rights (IHR) programs, activities, and endeavors is to foster collaboration, scholarly exchange, and academic learning related to human rights.
