Join us for the screening of a documentary film from the Historic Homes of Virginia series that features Library of Virginia collection items and staff members.
Virginia’s history lives in its homes, which hold centuries of craftsmanship, resilience and stories waiting to be told. Mutual Assurance has safeguarded these remarkable structures, and its policies help trace the homes’ transformations over time. From grand estates to colonial townhouses, these buildings are more than brick and wood — they are living history, carefully preserved for future generations. This series of short documentaries highlights these homes by uncovering their past, their preservation, and the people dedicated to keeping their stories alive.
