Co-produced with Coalescence Theatre ProjectIt is a dystopian world with an America divided into the Coastals and the Midlands, a place where science has been forgotten and outlawed, books burned, and freedoms stripped away. Doctor Rue Voynich and her apprentice Fade travel through this American Midland, dispensing herbal medications. When they meet Hannah, a desperate young woman, they must use ancient knowledge to help her complete an abortion before the law catches up with them. A poetic, queer, and all-too-real play about mothers, daughters, and navigating a post-Roe v. Wade future.
