Calling all Chicagoland and Midwest technical communicators: Join STC Chicago for our first-ever in-person Unconference on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12 to 4 PM CST!STC Chicago will be hosting a collaborative space for technical communicators to come together and discuss relevant topics, including projects, questions, difficulties and more. You bring the topic, and we provide the space for the discussion.
How It Works: We'll start with networking at noon and then begin sessions at 1 PM. We'll break out four times over the course of three hours. Attendees can bring their own topics and lead discussions in breakout groups or join someone else’s topic that they find interesting. Attendees can move freely between different breakout groups.
This event will take place at the Oak Park Public Library, which is accessible via the CTA Green Line to Oak Park Station as well as the Union Pacific West Metra from Ogilvie Transportation Center to Oak Park Station. The library also has garage parking available for $10. The city of Oak Park offers paid street parking and off-street lots as well.
