Do You Exist, Survive, or Thrive?

David Jaques is a veteran of the financial services industry having worked for an international money-center bank, a small regional bank, a startup that turned into a unicorn, and a number of venture capital firms and startups in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Despite achieving professional successes and publicly appearing to thrive in his professional and personal lives, David has dealt with mental illness since the age of 11; a side of him which he kept extremely private until 2019, when he launched his new mission to become an advocate for mental health and mental well-being. Today, he hosts a podcast channel “Wedotalk with David” in which he has interviewed more than 50 guests that have overcome major obstacles in their lives and are thriving, rather than surviving.

David will share his own story and some examples from his podcast guests.

We'll also open the floor for a Q&A then jump into some networking so will have the opportunity to meet and chat with David and all the attendees too!
