Fellow Animal Lovers,
Concerned citizens and animal welfare volunteers are coming together for a peaceful awareness gathering at Vastrapur Lake, Ahmedabad, with the aim of promoting compassion, legal awareness, and responsible coexistence with community animals.
This gathering is purely educational and non-political, focused on spreading correct information about:
- Animal rights and animal welfare laws
- Guidelines issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and High Courts
- The importance of preventing misinformation, panic, or fear around animals
The initiative also seeks to guide citizens on how they can responsibly support police and government authorities in cases of animal cruelty through timely reporting, cooperation during investigations, and promoting lawful, humane behaviour in society.
Rooted in Gujarat’s cultural values of “Ahimsa Parmo Dharma” and “Jivdaya”, the gathering emphasises compassion, coexistence, and respect for law.
The event will be conducted in a peaceful, orderly, and disciplined manner, ensuring no disruption to traffic or public activities, with full compliance to instructions issued by authorities.
