Do It for the LoveLeigh
This is the first annual volleyball tournament to remember a beautiful soul from the volleyball community! Leigh Dalton was a dear mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was taken due to domestic and gun violence in February 2023.
The proceeds and donations from this tournament will benefit Michael & Sara Franti’s, “Do It for the Love” Foundation. Michael Franti is an international musician/activist who spreads love and peace through his music and foundations. The “Do It for the Love” foundation’s mission is to “inspire hope and healing through the power of music by supporting clinical and community-based music therapy, evidence-based research, and providing live music experiences.” They also accept “Wish Grants” where “Do It for The Love can bring people living with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges, and wounded veterans to live music experiences.”

Michael Franti’s message of love, peace, and community, especially through music, is so important in today’s divisive world. We must come together to appreciate and celebrate our love and humanity instead of letting violence and anger tear us apart. That’s what my sister, Leigh, exuded every day with her bright smile, contagious laughter, and open heart towards everyone she met.

The tournament is sand 6's, co-ed, Volleyball Beach rules (https://volleyballbeach.com/wp-content/uploads/Rules.pdf).
We will have 3 divisions: Power, BB/B, and Rec. Prizes will be given to each division’s winner.
Registration is $180 per team, due the day of the tournament, or you can prepay via Venmo – Joseph Farris (@Suanki)
