Do Horses Have Teeth, Sir?John Hegley returns to The Chapel with an epic version of his Edinburgh Fringe show 20024, the impetus for which was hearing a youngster asking his teacher this unusual question
which led to delving into 40 years as a part-time educator – and 70 as a full-time learner.
90 minutes of mandolin accompanied enquiry into family, mythology, biology and cardboard modelling. The show includes cats, camels, a giant anteater, and of course horses, complete with coconut shell feet-noises. An evening of fun, emotion and a small amount of dancing.
Devised for adults, but not unsuitable for the odd nine-year-old.
