About the Event:
Join us for a meaningful day of self-care, mindfulness, and giving back at The Do Good Movement's School's Out Camp! This special 2-hour class is designed for children to experience wellness practices and discover the joy of helping others.
In the first hour, we'll focus on self-care through movement, breathwork, and mindfulness activities set to music and games – encouraging children to unwind, center themselves, and have fun in a positive environment.
Then, we’ll take kindness off the mat with a hands-on service project in partnership with Knitting It Together. Kids will be creating cozy blankets for local cancer patients, helping to spread warmth and hope in our community.
What’s Included:
- Self-care practices in movement, mindfulness, and breathwork
- Materials and supplies for blanket-making
- Completion of a 2-hour service project
- Girl Scout badge eligibility (please specify during registration)
Ticket Information:
The ticket cost includes all supplies needed for the blanket project. This is an amazing opportunity for kids to develop mindfulness, empathy, and a sense of community service – all while earning hours towards service requirements or a Girl Scout badge if applicable.
Don’t miss this chance to join us in making a difference!
