About this Event
Maplewood Township, NJ is offering Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses classes to residents and invited guests! This unique community experience combines the benefits of yoga with the pure joy of cuddling rescue dogs. Hosted at The Woodland Parlor, this special event will benefit One Step Closer Animal Rescue (OSCAR), making their event not only memorable but meaningful.
45-Minute Yoga Class: Glassdoor Fitness instructor Alyssia Saporito will lead you through a mixed-level yoga session while rescue puppies roam freely, offering puppy kisses and cuddles as you stretch and unwind.
30-Minute Puppy Snuggle Time: After the 2nd yoga session, participants can engage in an extra "snuggasana" session, getting up close with the pups for some much-needed relaxation and fun.
Sessions:
Yoga class 1: 10:00-10:45am.
Yoga class 2: 11:00-11:45am
Puppy Playtime ("Snuggasana"): 11:45am-12:15pm.
Tickets: This class is exclusively for the residents of Maplewood Township, NJ and tickets are not available to the general public.
Charity: A portion of the proceeds from your event will be donated to OSCAR.
What You Need: Just bring your yoga mat or towel—(rescue) will bring the pups!
**Please note that as this is a fundraising event for the rescue, the only dogs allowed on the class floor will be the dogs of OSCAR Animal Rescue. Also, due to potential canine dietary restrictions, no food or treats will be allowed on the class floor. For the safety, privacy and comfort of the participants, spectators are not encouraged. Thank you!**
