Howdy! I'm Daryl Parris! I've had the privilege of learning how to play the piano and organ as a result of my grandmother, the late Roselyn Scudy Marshall. Without her, their would be no Daryl Parris -Musician. I received my formal training from the accomplished Mrs. Rose Marie Overstreet Smith in Savannah, Georgia. Through her guidance I proudly participated for many years in BRAVO. Black youth Reaching to Achieve in Vocal and Orchestral Music. During my time in Savannah I have served as Church Musician for West Broad Seventh-day Adventist Church (Savannah, Ga), Butler Presbyterian Church (Savannah, Ga), Asbury United Methodist Church (Savannah, Ga), Kingdom United as a Session Musician under the direction of Rev. Dr. Patrick Purcell (Atlanta, Ga). While living in Texas I served as Church Pianist at Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church (Cleburne, TX), No Limit Ministries (Dallas, TX), and Greater Eleazer Baptist Church (Fort Worth, TX), Southwest Region Conference of SDA - Campmeeting (Dallas, TX). Other churches, conferences and /or organizations, South Atlantic Conference -Campmeeting (Atlanta, GA), The Celebration Mass Choir (Orangeburg, South Carolina), Rehoboth United Methodist Church (Columbia, SC), Andrew Chapel Baptist Church (Orangeburg, SC).
I've served as musician for many years in various positions. As I add to what I do and newly name my business I want the Lord to bless my business and my ministry. Join me Thursday, September 23, 2021. Local Small Businesses will be vendors; come and meet the business owners and see for yourself what hidden treasures have been in and around the Columbia Metropolitan area.
