Meet your Teacher, Sean Greysten Fields (Audiofields)
Sean Fields, know as Audiofields, Co-founder and DJ instructor of Club:Club, started his journey into DJing in the early 2010’s underground sound system culture of Copenhagen, Denmark. His experiences co-creating, producing, managing and booking many electronic music events in that scene, particularly in the realm of Dub and Jungle, fuelled a deeper passion for understanding music as a socio-cultural concept. This drove him into an MSc in the cognitive neuroscience of music, a brief stint in sonic branding R&D for Cord Worldwide in London, and aiding in the early stages of Rumkraft, the first independent DJing and music production school in Denmark. Rumkraft is also where he truly honed his craft as a DJ, originally learning to mix with Jungle and Drum & Bass vinyl records.
In 2018, Sean relocated to NYC and began working with Dub-Stuy, a sound system collective and record label in Brooklyn. During his time in NYC, Sean furthered his DJ journey into digital mixing for radio with DNB NYC Radio and Bassdrive.com. Sean also managed to play one of the final editions of Konkrete Jungle, a true piece of NYC Jungle history, alongside Liquid Sky founder DJ Soulslinger.
Upon his relocation to Providence, Sean initially got involved in the local scene through Symposium Records, becoming their resident Jungle/D&B DJ. Eventually he moved on to help set up a musical platform at Mayday. Coming into contact with the sounds being played in Providence’s underground, Sean began expanding his DJ repertoire and experimented with multi-hour, multi-genre bass music sets, which opened the door for many gigs all over the city.
After a few years of focused DJing, Sean returned to independent event production Co-Founding Bassweight RI in 2023. During this time, Sean also started unofficially teaching DJing to a few passionate friends, setting the stage for what would become Club:Club. One of these students, Danielle Sturm (Unabletoeven), became much more of a collaborator, and together they launched the event promotion platform IYKYK.PVD in November of 2023, which already has been growing in popularity and scale into 2024. Eventually they began drawing out the foundation for a learning environment for DJs in late 2023, and with the involvement of community powerhouse and music production expert Dailen Williams (Caloric), Club:Club was born.
Meet your Teaching Assistant, Danielle Sturm (Unabletoeven)
Hailing from Providence, RI, with roots in Chicago, IL Danielle Sturm, known as Unabletoeven, is a versatile multi-genre DJ known for igniting sound systems. Her journey as an underground music enthusiast spans over a decade, and a passion for curating tracks and crafting mixes has one aim - to leave you unable to even describe what you just heard.
An innovative entrepreneur through and through, she most recently Co-Foundered CLUB:CLUB, the place to learn DJing & music production in Providence. She has a rich background in music event production, promotion, marketing, booking, and artist relations & management with Soundz Organic and other New England based collectives and festival organizers. Through Soundz Organic, Danielle managed 2 electronic music producers and the leading booking agent for the organization until early 2023.
Only stepping into her DJing career in August of 2023, she has already played over 20 shows across New England. Most notable, she is Co-collaborator and resident DJ for IYKYK PVD a music collective started with Sean Fields (Audiofields). And has opened for acts like Ternion Sound & Bukkha.
Outside of DJing, she is Co-Founder of The Nest, your local sustainable fashion collective on a mission to fight the toxic cycle of fashion overconsumption and textile waste. Her personal mission is to unite communities over sustainable fashion and underground sound which makes you think, how do these fit together? Both are acts of activism, anti-capitalism, and bring communities together for a greater good for all.
Danielle graduated from JWU with a Bachelors in Entertainment & Event Management and a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on the business of music and helping small artists navigate the daunting music industry.
