Ever wanted to learn to play the Djembe drum? Now is your opportunity to discover the wonderful world of West African drumming. The session is hosted by James Carr who has over 25 years’ experience playing drums and percussion as well as more than 20 years’ teaching experience. In the session you will learn to play authentic West African djembe patterns, develop technique and together we will create an almighty sound. The sessions are aimed at adults and are open to all whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player. All sessions come with access to digital resources and a recording of our final piece. Big beats, big breaks and lots of laughs. Come and have some fun with us! Workshops for Adults - 11am to 1pm
£15 for the session. Book 3 different adult drumming sessions in one transaction - £12.50 per session.
Please note there is a booking fee per transaction - £1 online or by telephone, 50p in person at the Box Office.
