Founded in 2013 as a platform to showcase and celebrate global female talent, DJane Mag has served as the only online magazine on the planet to hold a female-only annual top DJ poll. Every year, the site receives thousands of votes - with one lucky lady crowned Top DJane for that respective year. With the recent launch of their UK arm, headed by CEO Kerol Garcia, DJane Mag has announced their first UK event at revered London hotspot, Hoxton Underbelly. Located just off Hoxton Square in the heart of the capital, Underbelly is a well-known live music space with a quirky aesthetic and intimate basement.
DJane Mag is on a mission to fill the gap of gender imbalance and give more opportunities for female, trans and non-binary DJs - who feel underrepresented in the Electronic dance music industry. We strive to create a platform and representation for artists and hope to make the Electronic Dance Music industry a more equal and explicitly inclusive space.
Taking place on Saturday 3rd July, DJane Mag’s first UK event will play host to a handpicked selection of the industry’s top DJs. You can expect an array of commercial and underground house and techno vibes to keep you moving throughout the night - with a steady flow of energetic performances.
