It's also a deeply personal journey for the artist, reflecting her own roots and heritage through the inclusion of oriental sounds, alongside her signature sound; UK bass, breakbeats, and jungle. If DJ Seduce's last album ’Celestial’ (2024) was all about the ethereal, Roots grounds us firmly into reality, connecting us to hidden parts of ourselves and inviting us to embrace our authentic selves without fear.
