If lonesome whistles, tales of loss, longing, drinking, death and wide open vistas are your thing, you’ll find a tear in your beverage with this haunting country crooner.
Inspired by Texas troubadours Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark, the bruised orchestral ballads of Tindersticks and the warm kitchen sink melodramas of Richard Hawley, Cold Hands presents a melting pot of styles set against his intricate country guitar picking.
Featuring a cast of guest players from the UK country music scene including Mark J Lee, Chris Dover and Ashley Harding, and produced by Joe Armitage (Buffalo Ghost, Ash, Mark & Joe), the album showcases an incredible variety of sonic backdrops that cohere into a deeply satisfying whole.
Having already shared stages with Summer Dean, the UK’s own Ags Connolly and Sid Griffin of paisley underground legends The Long Ryders, Cold Hands has proved capable of reducing audiences to pin-drop silence with just his guitar and soaring vocals.
Cold Hand is bringing classic Country crooning with a dark and lonesome twist to modern audiences that is sure to strike a chord in even the coldest of cold, cold hearts.
