DJ Brownie, aka Marc Brownstein, is the bass player of the Disco Biscuits and Co-founder of HeadCount. As a DJ, he is partial to spinning marathon Deep House, Tech House, Disco House and Nu-Disco sets, but has also been known to occasionally throw down down-tempo, hip-hop, and full on Drum and Bass sets. Versatile on the decks and with the genres, one thing that ties it all together is he keeps the dance floor moving and always chooses what to play in real time based off the vibe of the room.

The past couple years, Mike has enmeshed himself into the San Francisco music scene, playing shows between the city and the redwoods. Back east Mike runs First Friday House Music, CT’s longest running house music monthly, as well as a resident alongside Ryan Manta (Mike & Manta) at Rinse & Repeat in Boston, and also part of the JUiCED Crew (CT). Based in Connecticut. Mike’s mission is to share and facilitate the same level of emotional connection he feels with each of his track selections and to connect everyone on the dancefloor forming a singularity for that beautiful moment in time.
