During this 1 hour workshop you will learn how to use different ingredients to make lovely natural soaps.
We show you how to make two kinds of soap: a traditional soap made from natural oils and lye and a soap with a soap base.
Furthermore, we will discuss how you can make soaps with different properties, which oils you should use and we will discuss the different techniques of soap making.
After this we'll start working together to make soap. As a group we'll make one big soap bar (loaf) according to the cold process method and then a soap with a soap base. The last soap you will decorate yourself and add scents etc. You leave with an instruction booklet and two pieces of soap: the soap that you decorated yourself and a slice of a traditionally made soap.
Workshop Soap Making Amsterdam
Costs: 65.00 euros per person.
Duration: The workshop lasts about 1 hour.
What you get: We make 2 lovely soaps which you will take home with you after the workshop. You will also receive an instruction with information and a recipe so you can continue making soap at home.
Number of people: maximum 3 (to be able to guarantee 1,5 m distance between participants). In case of too few entries, the workshop can be canceled.
Language: The workshop material is in English. The workshops are in English, unless everyone speaks Dutch. In that case we'll switch to Dutch.
Where: DIY Soap - Van Woustraat 48, Amsterdam.

Reservations can be made by purchasing the workshop in our webshop. Attention: check the box 'pick up in store' when asked tot choose a shipping method.
After payment you will receive an automatic confirmation of your order and after a few days you will also receive a personal email with a confirmation of your reservation for the workshop. In this email you will find all the details of your reservation for the workshop, such as time, location etc. You will not receive a confirmation of your reservation by post, only by email.
