Join us for a day of hands-on workshops, where local artisans will guide you in making beautiful, eco-friendly gifts that will be cherished by your loved ones.Not able to attend? Don’t worry! Many of our workshops will have take-home kits available for purchase in our farm store beginning December 1st. Simply grab a kit, follow the instructions, and craft your own handmade gifts at home!

Planning to stay for the day? You’re welcome to bring your own lunch, or grab some pizza for $2 a slice starting at 12:00PM!
Family Workshops:
The holidays are all about gathering together as a family—why not learn how to craft beautiful, meaningful gifts together?
The cost of the workshop includes materials to make one item, and bring it home with you. If you wish to make more than one item, please purchase multiple tickets (i.e. Your child would like to make the item and you would like to watch – purchase one ticket. You and your child would both like to make the item – purchase 2 tickets). All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up for more than one workshop and/or purchase multiple tickets for a single workshop in a single transaction, and you’ll receive a 10% discount on each registration!
10AM – Wooden Spoon Carving – $50 (advanced registration required)
Wood carving is a meditative activity that you can do almost anywhere. Handmade spoons are usable forms of art that will last for years if carved well and taken care of. Using simple tools: a fixed blade knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper, you will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new eating utensil. Workshop approx. 2 hours. Led by Owl Eyes Wilderness.
1PM – Wooden Fox Carving – $55 (advanced registration required)
Join us for a fun and creative family workshop where you’ll learn to carve your own wooden fox! This hands-on session is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. Each participant will carve their own adorable wooden fox, which makes for a charming gift or a delightful addition to your home decor. Learn how to use simple tools: a fixed blade knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper. You will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new artwork. Workshop approx. 2 hours. Led by Owl Eyes Wilderness.
1-3PM – Holiday Felting – $15
Get cozy and crafty with this hands-on workshop where you and your family will learn the art of wet felting! You’ll create either a festive holiday ornament or a beautiful holiday flower—perfect for gifting or decorating your home. No advanced registration required – come anytime between 1:00 – 3:00 PM! Plan for about 1 hour to complete your craft, but feel free to take your time! Led by Stonewall Farm educators.
3:15PM – Hand-Rolled Beeswax Candle Class – $25 (advanced registration required)
Discover the art of making your very own beeswax candles in this hands-on workshop! After a brief demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to craft two candles from natural beeswax sheets, and personalize it with beautiful embellishments. Workshop approx. 45 minutes. Led by Inner Daisy Candles.
Adult Workshops:

Whether you come by yourself or bring a friend (or two!), join us for a series of hands-on workshops where you’ll learn to create beautiful, eco-friendly gifts that are perfect for the holidays. You’ll leave with something truly special—ready to gift or keep for yourself.

10:30AM – Infused Olive Oil – $45 (advanced registration required)
Infused Oils are simple and effective ways to preserve herbs for use as food (in cooking or straight from the bottle) as well as medicine. We will look at health benefits of both oregano and garlic, and learn a “quick” method of infusing olive oil. Participants will make their own jar of oil to bring home with them. Workshop approx. 1-1.5 hours max. Led by Calcite & Comfrey.
*Oil infusion is the first step of making salves, so if you’re interested in learning the entire process, be sure to also check out the Comfrey Salve Making workshop later in the day! By attending both classes, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how to create your own natural remedies from start to finish.*

Comfrey is a wonderfully healing herb, especially during the winter months. During the hands on workshop, we will look at the healing properties of comfrey, discuss the many uses of salves, and make a simple salve during class time. Workshop approx. 1-1.5 hours max. Led by Calcite & Comfrey.
