Learn how to use herbs and flowers from your garden to make healing salves. Make your own tins of salve to use or give to loved ones this Valentines Day. This is a hands-on DIY class where you’ll choose from a variety of recipes to create two different types of salve and a lip balm to take home. We’ll also go over how to dehydrate your own herbs and florals and make your own infused oils so you can create your own favorite salve at home.

Local garden speaker and coauthor of Small-Scale Homesteading, Michelle Bruhn of Forks in the Dirt, will be teaching a series of classes in person this spring. The Anchor Coffee House will be our cozy yet spacious meeting place. Doors open at 6:15 so we’ll have some time for herbal tea and treats before starting the class.
