About this Event
Join us for a FREE, DIY Fidget/Stim Tools Workshop at the Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse!
Here, you'll learn how to design & make your own stim tools & sensory supports with reused materials. Stim tools & sensory supports are objects or materials that stimulate or soothe the senses. They can be used to help people focus, regulate emotions, and develop sensory processing skills. This workshop is open to all ages, skill levels, abilities, and neurotypes.
Creative Reuse is a supportive space, open to folks with any level of artistic ability. Our goal is to foster expression and creative community, not perfection. Just bring an open mind– we’ll cover the rest.
This workshop is the first of our Guest Teaching Artist workshop series where we'll bring in a different local artist to host a workshop on the second sunday of each month. This months' Guest TA is Dee (they/them). They are a multidisciplinary creative, experimental musician & performer, event organizer, and Teaching Artist here at Creative Reuse. If you or anyone you know is interested in the opportuntiy to host a workshop, check out the application here: https://forms.gle/i19d2eLE2vPS6hwq5
