Calling all nature lovers! In this exciting workshop, kids ages 5-10 will become bird-friendly heroes by making their very own DIY bird feeders using recycled materials on Friday March 28th from 4PM – 6PM at the Elgin Recreation Center. Parents are welcome to participate alongside their kids, making it a fun, interactive experience for the whole family! From pinecones to cardboard, we’ll turn everyday items into tasty treats for our feathered friends. With simple ingredients like peanut butter and seeds, each child will create a special feeder to take home and hang in their own backyard. It’s a perfect blend of creativity, nature, and fun, all while spreading some love to our winged friends!
Pre-register today at the Elgin Recreation Center or online at https://secure.rec1.com/TX/elgin-tx/catalog.
