Did you know Frontier RTP has a partnership with Bee Downtown? You have probably driven past our hives many times without realizing all of the greatness inside. In the past, some of that greatness has been turned into a honey beer by our friends at Bombshell Beer Company, Neuse River Brewing, Fullsteam RTP and mead from Honeygirl Meadery.
We host bee hive tours twice a year which gives our community a chance to get an up close look at the bees that make this all possible. Now, we're excited to offer a new experience that will allow you to take your love for bees to the next level.
This event is designed for the bee lovers who aren't quite ready to become beekeepers just yet! In the spirit of wasting less, create your own reusable beeswax wrap to add a sustainable food storage option to your everyday life. With wax made by the Bee Downtown bees, you can paint an essential oil and wax blend over cotton cloth to create a reusable food wrap alternative that will be enjoyed for many meals to come!
