About this Event
We’re celebrating the launch of Padma Lakshmi x Diaspora Spice Co.’s Gunpowder, our newest (and biggest!) collaboration yet. It’s a bold, deeply savory South Indian–inspired spice blend that brings rich heat, nuttiness, and crunch to just about everything. Padma loves it in her grilled cheese (among many other things!), and the team at Librae Bakery has reimagined it in pastry form.
Join us on Saturday, October 19th at Librae Bakery, 10 AM onwards! You can expect:
🌀 A savory morning bun with cheese, cilantro, and Padma’s Gunpowder Podi - Librae’s buttery nod to Padma’s favorite grilled cheese.
🥥 A sweet golden milk bun with candied coconut and frosting, made with Diaspora’s signature Golden Milk Blend.
☕ Free Masala Chai (our newest blend of black tea and abundant spices) served all morning.
🛍️ A selection of Diaspora Spice Co.’s top spice blends available for purchase - perfect for gifting or restocking your pantry.
We have two ticket options:
- Free Entry - just show up and celebrate with us!
- Take Home Padma’s Gunpowder ($15) - reserve your Gunpowder tin ahead of time and be among the very first to get it.
