Presented alongside with Diwali Fest, this celebration will feature activities for kids, snacks and drinks, vendors, a henna station, and performances inside the Evergreen theatre. Diwali is a South Asian religious festival focused on light and triumph of good over evil. Having historical origins dating back thousands of years, this celebration is an important cultural practice for many Hindus and Sikhs in Coquitlam, making it a part of our city's diverse heritage.
