The Diwali Garba Night at Penn State Berks on Saturday, Nov 16 at 6:30pm is an opportunity to bring our community together. The event will feature traditional Garba dancing, lively music, delicious food, and creative crafts. All are welcome to attend. No prior dancing experience necessary!

Garba is a traditional dance form from India, often performed during Hindu festivals, especially Navratri and Diwali. Dancers move in rhythmic, synchronized steps while clapping or twirling, often wearing colorful, embroidered clothing adorned with mirrors and intricate patterns. The lively music, typically featuring drums and folk instruments, sets a joyful, energetic atmosphere, embodying themes of celebration and unity.
