About this Event
This one-day workshop aims to discuss and highlight recent trends, barriers and solutions, and practical approaches to safe diving for science and archaeology commonly referred to as ‘Scientific Diving’. It targets a delegation of researchers and higher education professionals, university / institutional dive safety officers and health and safety professionals working in support of research, hyperbaric medical experts, policy makers and regulators. Australian and international perspectives are sought and will be discussed within the current context of the current revision to Standards and Regulations in Australia that impact the Scientific Diving community.
This event will also provide the venue for the Australia New Zealand Scientific Diving Association Annual General Meeting, held in the afternoon for ANZSDA Members.
