Sadly, there is division here on this earth. Sin is at the root of that division. How important it is to listen to God’s Word! However, Satan wants the division to continue. To do so, he prompts some people to put their own spin on God’s Word so that they sound like true servants of God’s Word to lead people astray. False teachers try to lead us astray by downplaying or changing God’s law, by denying that all of it is the inspired Word of God, or by trying to lead us think that there is something we can do to contribute at least in some way to our salvation.
Listen to what the Lord declares. Listen to those who faithfully speak God’s Word. God’s Word has great benefits for us to enjoy as it leads us to repent of our sins and to rejoice in the Lord who is our righteousness!
