Join Janet Lucy and Melanee Cooper for a taste of “pura vida,” and the writing and yoga retreat they will be offering at Blue Spirit in Costa Rica. “Divine Ink ~ Illuminating The Heroine’s Journey” is a unique distillation of the seven essential stages of the Heroine’s Journey, a universal divine feminine path. During this workshop we’ll identify our callings, discover and write from a true inner voice, and deepen with yoga and ritual. At the end of the journey, we come home to a new knowing of ourselves: self-trusting, radiant, and empowered.
Janet Lucy, MA, is an award-winning writer and poet, the author of “Moon Mother, Moon Daughter ~ Myths and Rituals that Celebrate a Girl’s Coming of Age” and three award-winning children’s books. Janet is the Founder/Director of Women’s Creative Network in Santa Barbara, California, a consulting business emphasizing intuitive, creative and professional development through writing. Janet has been facilitating weekly women’s writing circles, leading local and international writing retreats for over 25 years. Melanee Cooper is a devoted teacher of mindful yoga with over 20 years of experience. Her extensive training provides her with the skill and knowledge to cultivate a safe and nourishing space to guide you into your practice with a focus on creative sequences, alignment principles, breathwork, meditation, yoga and Buddhist philosophy. Through her wisdom teachings, Melanee fosters personal and spiritual growth to enhance flexibility, mental clarity, and holistic healing for your body, mind, and spirit. Melanee is 1000 RYT and received several of her certifications at the Nosara Yoga Institute in 2009, which has been her yoga home and community ever since.
