Diversity In Aquatics Celebration Water Safety Festival and Swim Meet

In partnership with the MEAC/SWAC Celebration Bowl, Diversity In Aquatics and several aquatic organizations will host several events to celebrate the culture of aquatics at HBCUs and a commitment to water-related education within Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

All aquatic events for the weekend will be held at:
Archer Hall Recreation Center, Morehouse College, Atlanta, GA

There will be both out-of-water and in-water activities. The day starts with a program with speakers from the Atlanta Aquatics and our community.

Friday, December 15th - Water Safety Festival & Developmental Swim Meet
Kicking off the festivities on Friday, December 15th, will be our youth-focused series of events. During the event, all ages of participants will learn about water safety and gain knowledge about various opportunities in aquatics while celebrating the accomplishments of Historically Black Colleges and universities. Through a collaborative network of aquatic agencies, we supply gear, giveaways, and financial support for aquatic programming through learn-to-swim scholarships, certifications, and more at Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about water safety and gain knowledge about various options in aquatics while celebrating the accomplishments of Historically Black Colleges and universities. Through a collaborative network of aquatic agencies, we supply gear, giveaways, and financial support for aquatic programming through learn-to-swim scholarships, certifications, and more at Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Finishing up the day, participants can compete in a developmental swim meet. Come one or all to be a part of this amazing event.

Saturday, December 16th - HBCU Celebration Swim Meet
The Diversity In Aquatics Celebration Bowl Swim Meet is a collaborative effort to educate, support, and promote aquatic history and its future at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This swim meet is open to both current students, alumni and supporters of HBCUs.
