About this Event
Join us for a day of networking, connecting and learning from likeminded educators who are passionate about DEIB.
This is our first in-person #DiverseEd conference since our one in Slough in January 2020.
Our events are inclusive and accessible, with opportunities to reflect and discuss, in a safe space where you will be surrounded by other advocates for DEIB work in schools and colleges.
Our event will include:
- Keynote speeches
- Panel discussions
- Workshops
- Student voice
- Marketplace
We are currently finalising the event budget so that we can confirm the brilliant line-up of speakers who have provisionally said they are available to join us and when they will be speaking and on what.
We will ensure that we have a representative line-up, including amplifying the voice of our pupils/ students and we are keen to balance local, regional and national voices.
A teaser of who will be contributing to the event:
- Amy Sayer
- Audrey Pantelis
- Bennie Kara
- Claire Neaves
- Domini Leong
- Edel Cronin
- Ian Timbrell
- Jo Brassington
- Marie Hazel
- Nicky Bright
- Ruth Golding
More information to follow soon as more organisations/ speakers confirm!
The conference will also launch our new #DiverseEd Hub in Bristol which will be a half-termly opportunity for educators from the region to come together as a network.
