DANCE IS MEDICINE.This free accessible workshop introduces the idea of a "movement mantra" in the form of song, and explores identifying what we desire to release while moving towards what we wish to receive.
Dance is an integrative, whole-person health experience. It's good for the mind, body, and spirit.
At this Centered at the Center event, you are invited to join Chezale Rodriguez, a multidisciplinary teaching/performing artist, and arts & cultural advocate who utilizes music, dance, storytelling and dialogue to inspire healing, liberation and inclusivity, for an hour and a half of movement.
The University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and Banner Health invite you to attend, free of charge with free parking on Saturday, January 17.
The dance workshop starts at 3:00pm, please arrive a few minutes early.
The space is mobility-friendly, with accessible routes, parking and restrooms.
While the event is free, we do ask you register here in advance: https://event.awcim.arizona.edu/inclusive_dance
