✨Our Values✨
💙Safety: We strive to create an environment where we get to explore the connection of dance in a safe and consensual manner. We pride ourselves in only hiring artists who take safety and consent seriously and have not had any major consent violations themselves. We also do not tolerate any unsafe or inappropriate behavior from our attendees. Please see the Austin Brazilian Zouk Safety Committee's Policies and Procedures for more details on what is considered inappropriate behavior.

💙Health: We all know how important sleep is for our health but we often throw this out the window when it comes to dance events. However, we want to be able to dance for years on end and ALSO take care of our bodies. That is why we designed a schedule with sleep in mind. With 6 hours of workshops and 7 hours of social dancing each day, you won't miss out on a thing and you'll be able to get 8 hours of sleep to feel refreshed and ready to do it again!
💙Technique: We hire high-level instructors to teach high-level content! Our workshops are 1.5 hours long so you have time to dive deep into each concept! Come away from these classes with a better understanding of not just the movements themselves but of the concepts and technique behind them! This year we will have two rooms with different levels: Fundamentals and Challenge!

A FULL DAY of workshops and socials on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! We recommend arriving Thursday night if possible to take full advantage of this event! The schedule is the same for each day! Workshop topics and DJ schedule can be found on the website or below on Facebook.
