Join us for a couple dives in the Niagara Region. We will select a dive location based on divers attending and readiness for the dive site. We will also consider diving conditions as we near the dive date. Some possible sites could be:
Welland Scuba Park -Suitable for all certified divers.
-A great location to start the dive season if you have not been out diving recently
Niagara River -Some sites are suitable for Open Water Divers and some require Advanced or drift diving abilities.
-The upper Niagara offers several options but all involve current. For these sites you would enter the water and drift down river to an exit location often covering a 2-3km.
-The lower Niagara offers sites like Queens Royal Park and Navy Hall where you enter and exit at the same spot, While there is still a strong current in the river these areas offer some protection.
Chippewa Creek -Suitable for most divers.
-While the Chippewa has a current like the Niagara, being much narrower divers are always closer to shore. There is also many more areas to exit the water if the need arises.
Sherkston Quarry- Suitable for all divers (park entry fee required)
-The quarry has train tracks and old locomotives at the bottom. Early season offers the best visibility.
If you plan on joining, let us know your thoughts on where you want to dive.
