ATTENTION RECREATIONAL DIVERS: We don't like debris in our ocean, and we're guessing you don't either. Toward that end, under contract with FWC and the NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, in cooperation with and sponsored by Goal:Clean Seas, Lost Reef Adventures will be conducting a dive trip on the afternoon of February 21st to Dive Against Debris. The trip is intended to educate recreational divers on the proper etiquette and procedures for safe debris removal from our reef, than have you actively participate in its removal. We have 8 (eight) spots paid for by the Goal:Clean Seas initiative. All you need to bring is your motivation, and a trash collection mesh bag (sheers and gloves are strongly encouraged as well). We will dive two locations in the sanctuary and remove whatever debris we can safely take off the reef. If you are interested in joining the trip, contact Lost Reef Adventures at 305-296-9737, or send us an email at [email protected].
