*Ragas After Dark features multiple musicians performing in 4 different ensembles throughout the night from 8 PM to approximately 4 AM.Ragas after Dark is the first of its kind in the DMV, a mini all-night concert dedicated to immersing in South Asian classical music. This event is influenced by ragas, the classical music tradition of South Asia, in which certain musical modes resonate with the emotions and energy of specific times of day, like dawn, dusk, or the late hours of the night. Attendees will experience the rare opportunity to listen to ragas performed during the late night and early morning hours, immersing in the tradition's unique connection to specific times of day.
