Council President Emily Berge and City Manager Stephanie Hirsch are happy to announce the launch of the fall round of District Discussions.Emily and Stephanie will be hosting four “District” meetings in the coming weeks and will be joined by District and At-Large Council Members and Neighborhood Associations.
Topics of discussion this fall:
• Citywide Updates: 2025 Budget, Housing and homelessness
• Neighborhood Specific Updates: Public safety, Traffic issues, Development projects, Street reconstruction, Neighborhood Service Division news (including code enforcement)
• Update on Projects and Request for your Feedback: Parks and open space, Trash systems, Parking, Transit, Teen mental health, Zoning, Community connections, Community values
• Small Group Discussion Pilot: As part of the meeting, attendees will be able to join facilitators from the UWEC to discuss neighborhood-level data and priorities, while getting to know their neighbors better.

• Central: Thursday, October 17, 6PM, L.E. Phillips Senior Center (Neighborhood associations include: Eastside Hill, Historic Randall Park, North River Fronts, Third Ward)

• West Side: Wednesday, October 2nd, 6PM, Delong Middle School Auditorium (Neighborhood associations include: Buffington, Shawtown, Upper Westside, Westridge)
• South Side: Thursday, October 10th, 6PM, South Middle School Cafeteria (Neighborhood associations include: Putnam Heights)
• North Side: Wednesday, October 16th, 6PM, Northstar Middle School Cafeteria (Neighborhood associations include: Airport, Dells, North Side Hill, Princeton Valley, Sundet)
