This event is open to all Toastmasters members, guests, and anyone curious about personal growth and public speaking.

• $18.50 per person
• $10 for attendees under 18(Fees help cover the cost of food and refreshments.)

Rain or Shine

To enter Norristown Farm Park, please use the main entrance at W. Germantown Pike and Barley Sheaf Drive.

• Barley Sheaf Drive becomes Upper Farm Road as you enter the park.
• Keep to the right and follow the park signs to reach the pavilions, office, and parking areas.
• The park is open daily from 6:00 AM until sunset (closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day).
• Free parking is available near the pavilions.
• Paved paths and accessible restrooms make the park welcoming for attendees of all abilities.

Info: As part of our annual picnic, we will hold a District Executive Committee (DEC) meeting. All guests are welcome to observe. Please note that only DEC members may contribute to the discussion or vote on business matters.

Info: Enjoy some classic barbeque favorites including burgers (beef, turkey, and plant-based), hot dogs, pasta salad, fresh fruit, and snacks. Beverages include water, soda (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Canada Dry Ginger Ale), and assorted juices.

Info: Does your cake have what it takes? Here's an opportunity to show off your dessert creation skills with a dessert contest! All types of desserts welcome. All attendees will have an opportunity to sample the entries and vote on three of their favorites. Winners will receive gift cards! Those interested in entering the contest can contact Gregory Ludwig ([email protected]) for more info and to enter.

To keep things safe and enjoyable, we ask that you provide a small card describing your dessert and listing any known allergens (cards will be supplied closer to the event).

Info: Enjoy lively activities with raffles, giveaways, and group games designed to keep the picnic buzzing from start to finish. Whether you’re in it for the prizes or simply the laughs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Info: Show off your District 38 pride by rocking a T-shirt, hat, or another article of clothing you obtained from a District 38 event in the past. No clothing from the past? No Problem! Wear a white T-shirt and invite Toastmasters to sign your shirt (permanent markers provided). Those wearing District 38 clothing are also invited to have people sign their clothing if they choose. It's a great way to meet someone new and make memories. Remember, Be Extraordinary because We Stand Out! You Have a Voice and will always move Fearlessly Forward!!!

Info: Do you have a picture or giveaway from a District 38 event in the past? Bring it to the picnic to participate in Table Topics. The theme will be District 38 "Show and Tell." Participants will be given two minutes to share their picture/item with the audience and tell the story about it. This surely will bring back fond memories!
