The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce invites you to a special Distinguished Speaker Series program to benefit the Bedford County Chamber Education Foundation and Veterans Grove—a night where art and purpose come together.
The evening opens with a hearty, catered BBQ dinner prepared by Klavuhn’s Wood Fired, featuring their signature smoked barbecue favorites (brisket and chicken) and house sides (macaroni and cheese, baked beans, twice-baked potatoes, salad bar) and dessert.
After dinner, settle in for an engaging fireside chat with Wayne Hyde, the renowned bronze sculptor whose evocative works celebrate American stories—from local legends and national heroes to everyday moments of grit and grace. Hyde will discuss his creative process, the challenges of working in bronze, and the inspirations that shape his sculptures, including pieces honoring veterans and community heritage.
Your attendance directly supports hands-on leadership and workforce development programs through the Chamber's Education Foundation, as well as the continued care and enhancement of Veterans Grove, our county's living tribute to service and sacrifice.
