DISTINGUISHED LECTURE NISAR: A Landmark in U.S.–India Space Collaboration
Paul Rosen, Ph.D., Project Scientist with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will give an overview of NISAR — the first satellite to use dual‑frequency radar for high‑resolution, all‑weather, global imaging every 12 days. Its open data will support climate research,
disaster response, agriculture, and ecosystem monitoring. Rosen will also highlight how the mission advances science and strengthens U.S.–India collaboration.
