Grupo Fantasma is a nine-piece Grammy award winning Latin band formed in 2000 in Austin, Texas. The band consists of Latin percussion, guitar, bass, trumpet, baritone saxophone and trombone. The band performs a fusion of both new and traditional music and they have performed at international festivals and venues including two tours to Kuwait and Iraq to entertain US troops and a recent tour in Pakistan and Qatar.
On the event day, CURRENT UTRGV students can get free admission by showing their valid ID or using the GET app. Venue opens at 6 PM.

La banda está formada por percusión latina, guitarra, bajo, trompeta, saxofón barítono y trombón.
