Join us on Saturday, April 12th, at 7:00 pm for an exciting evening of dance and film. Feast your eyes on an episodic dance series, Distant Images, created by Kasi Kirkpatrick in collaboration with the UCI dance majors.
You can view the film wherever you like and move throughout the space between episodes for new perspectives. You can also enjoy a complimentary Polaroid.
This series combines perspectives of being a woman, with pop culture consumption, and inspiration from feminist philosopher Iris Marion Young’s On Throwing Like a Girl and Other Essays, while paying homage to some of my favorite screendance creators.
