Dissidents are a rock and roll group based in Leeds, U.K. Dissidents are a band determined to be recognised for their authenticity and unique live sound, and are eager to record new material in the coming months. Since its release, Dissidents have burst onto the live music scene within Leeds, playing headline slots at venues such as The Key Club and The Lending Room, as well as working alongside some of Leeds’ most reputable live music promoters including Slam Dunk and This Feeling.
Mother’s Day are a new noise rock / experimental rap/ punk band consisting of Jake Birtles and Luke James. Taking sounds from the likes of Gilla Band, Death Grips, Aphex Twin and Pixies, and fusing them with post-punk, IDM, Techno and Metal. Expect to hear metal breakdowns after UKG drum breaks, vocal screams over Aphex-Twin style chops, feedback builds leading to techno drops. Mother’s Day are a band like no other and are challenging the underground scene in a new way. Together they play with full-energy, performing with 100% intention on being one of the weirdest, most interesting and eye-catching band you may ever see.
Sierra Nevada, a new punk band from Leeds ready to tear Sheffield apart. With our mix of covers and originals, we play a high-energy, sweaty set, and we are looking forward to bringing this dynamic to Yellow Arch Studios
