At Southern Maltings we understand that little ones will not always sit still during a film screening, so this half term we are offering a no-frills relaxed cinema screening of Disney’s Encanto. This screening will be in our Main Studio, accessed via our café entrance. The café will be open to purchase pre film snacks and drinks. Chairs will be available, but why not bring along a picnic blanket and cushions and settle down to watch this family favourite. Pushchairs can be left in the Heritage room at the foot of the stairs, and a lift is available for anyone with mobility issues.
You are invited into the exceptional, fantastical, and magical Casa Madrigal. The Madrigals are an extraordinary family who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a charmed place called the Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift — every child except Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigals last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger….
The event is being held on the first floor Main Studio of the Southern Maltings building. Please use the East entrance (via the Southern Maltings café). Lift access available.

All events are run by volunteers and proceeds go towards developing the Southern Maltings into an amazing creative arts centre which will enable us to put on a wider and more frequent range of events and activities for the whole community.
