Stage Center (SC) & their School of Performing Arts proudly announce the final production of their 14th Season, Disney’s Winnie-the-Pooh (Kids Edition). This marks the first presentation of our new Workshop, which gives students in 3rd-5th grades the opportunity to combine skills-based training with elements of a full-scale production. There will be two presentations on September 18 and 19, 2025 at the new Stage Center Warehouse on the Grace Community Campus. Featuring favorite songs from the beloved Disney film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun. Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course… sharing snacks. The workshop is directed by Anne Brown Petersen, with musical direction by Katie Phillips. Our student interns are Eva Kleinpeter, Norah Phillips, and Ava Smith.
