We loved doing Queeraoke in Sarnia SO much we are back again! This time with an extra special theme: Disney and Musical!
We're ecstatic to be back at Refined Fool too - could not pick a better spot and community to work the. This local brewery and music venue are pros at getting people together and celebrating eachothers silly sides. Follow them on Instagram
FAQ - Should I wear a costume?
Up to you entirely! You're welcome to dress up as your fave disney or musical character. Last time we had a spectacular Ursula who sang Poor Unfortunate Souls, it was incredible. So if that's your jam, have fun with it!
Uh, what exactly is Queeraoke?
It's Karaoke that celebrates queer joy and expression! Queeraoke is all about creating a safe, comfy and fun space for everyone to express themselves and have a ton of fun singing their favourite tunes.
Can straight people come too?
Yes! Allies are absolutely welcome, this event is for everyone who wants to celebrate Queer Joy.
What do ticket sales go to?
A large portion will be donated to Rebound's Spectrum program in Sarnia (see more about below) and the remainder will be to cover costs of our karaoke system, travel (we are from Brantford!) and our hosting fee. We love hosting these events and want to do more of them so this is our way to keep our efforts sustainable!

Price: Tickets are $10 with a portion of of all tickets being donated to Sarnia Rebound's Spectrum program

About the cause:
Spectrum is an inclusive drop-in open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit and questioning 2SLGBTQIA+ youth in Sarnia-Lambton. Throuh this program, youth are provided with a place where they find acceptance, one-on-one support, guest speakers,and activities like art, board games and movie nights.
