Over the years, Walt Disney’s movies and their music touched the hearts of entire generations and got engraved in our collective memory. Disney’s music was always greatly influenced by the period of time in which the films were made. Jazz was an inevitable source of inspiration. The movies and their music’s rich history inspired this Belgian jazz sextet to tackle the immortal Disney repertoire. They selected songs from 10 of Disney’s earlier masterpieces made between 1941 and 1989. They jazzed up the repertoire with the utmost respect for the original written music, but gave it their own interpretation nonetheless.
