We’re rolling into November with another round of Diskupils, continuing in our refreshed format. After opening the space to conversations with people who bring anthropology into their professional lives, we’re excited to keep exploring how anthropological perspectives travel and take shape beyond the university.This time, we’ll be joined by Anna Høifødt, social anthropologist and former student. She is the founder and former chair of the Norwegian Psychedelic Science Association, has worked on drug policy and is currently an advisor and responsible for community at the Humanists. Anna’s master’s research explored how people in Oslo use psychedelic substances as tools for introspection, and how these experiences shape their sense of self and their relationships with others. We’ll also spend some time talking about this work and how it continues to inform her perspective today.
